Aurascape is taking a fundamentally new approach to one of the fastest-growing challenges facing enterprises: how to embrace AI without losing visibility or control of sensitive data.

Aurascape was founded by an experienced team of cybersecurity and AI veterans, led by CEO Moinul Khan and co-founders Patrick Xu, Viswesh, Liang Li, and Rajiv Khemani, with backgrounds spanning Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, Netskope, FireEye, Juniper, Google, and Amazon.
The Silicon Valley company emerged from stealth in April 2025 with $50 million in funding led by Mayfield Fund and Menlo Ventures, with backing from Celesta Capital and prominent security leaders including former Palo Alto Networks CEO Mark McLaughlin and former Symantec CEO Greg Clark.
